Server & Virtualization Support
- Install, configure, and maintain server environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Manage and support Nutanix AHV/Prism clusters, including VM provisioning, health monitoring, and upgrades.
- Perform regular system health checks, patching, and performance tuning.
Directory & Infrastructure Services
- Administer and support Active Directory, including user/group management, GPOs, and authentication issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services to ensure stable and reliable network operations.
Storage Management
- Monitor and manage storage systems, including provisioning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting storage-related issues.
- Support SAN/NAS environments and ensure proper data availability and backup functionality.
Network Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across servers, switches, and firewalls.
- Work with networking teams to identify and resolve routing, switching, and latency problems.
- Monitor network performance and escalate issues as needed.
Mail Support
- Provide support for corporate email systems (Microsoft Exchange, M365, or other mail platforms).
- Troubleshoot email flow, mailbox issues, and connectivity for end users.
Incident & Problem Management
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents within defined SLAs.
- Document root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain detailed documentation including procedures, system diagrams, and service records.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Network, Security, Storage, Helpdesk).
- Contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives and automation efforts.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix and VMware virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Practical knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS, Nutanix storage layers, etc.).
- Experience with network troubleshooting tools and methods.
- Good understanding of email systems (Exchange, M365, SMTP fundamentals).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 or on-call rotation environment (if applicable).
