Job Description
An SAP SuccessFactors PMGM Consultant designs, implements, configures, and supports the Performance & Goal Management module within SuccessFactors. This role requires a deep understanding of talent management practices, integration capabilities, and strategic alignment of performance processes with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Module Configuration & Implementation
Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors PMGM (and related modules like EC, ONB, RCM) to meet business needs.
Lead end-to-end PMGM implementation and support, including calibration, goals, continuous performance management, and 360-degree reviews. - Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Interact with clients and HR stakeholders to gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and design tailored solutions. - Template & XML Customization
Customize performance review form templates, calibration templates, and goal plan XML files to align with specific business processes. - Integration & Data Management
Enable integration/synchronization between PMGM and third-party systems (including SSO/SAML 2.0, AD integrations). Manage data migration and perform regular system audits for integrity. - Testing, Deployment & Support
Perform unit, regression, and user acceptance testing. Deliver L1L3 support and escalate to SAP Product team (L4) when required. Address high-priority issues under tight deadlines. - Training & Documentation
Create comprehensive configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials. Conduct training sessions for HR teams and administrators. - Continuous Improvement
Monitor product upgrades, patches, and best practices. Propose and implement enhancements to optimize processes and user experience.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, HR, or related field.
- Demonstrable experience (typically 37+ years) implementing and supporting SuccessFactors PMGM, including at least one full end-to-end implementation.
- SAP SuccessFactors PMGM certification is highly preferred or mandatory.
- Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of PMGM module: goal planning, continuous performance, 360 reviews, calibration, ratings, competencies.
- Proficient in XML template modifications, form template settings, RBP, Career Worksheet, advanced reporting, workflows/routes.
Nice-to-Have Assets
- Experience with broader SuccessFactors modules (EC, ONB, RCM, CDP/SPCDP).
- Knowledge of SAP HCM integration and migration processes.
- Experience customizing competencies, career development worksheets, and Job Profile Builder.
