Job Description

Location: Chennai (Preferred)

Immediate joiners only

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage/Lead end-to-end testing for RPG/Mainframe applications (IBM iSeries/AS400).
• Define test strategy, plans, and schedules aligned with project goals.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution (Jira/Confluence).
• Design and implement automation frameworks for Web App, Mainframe/RPG apps.
• Develop automated test scripts and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams for quality delivery.
• Work experience in both Agile & Waterfall Methodologies.
• Track and report test progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in RPG/Mainframe testing (JCL, DB2, CL commands).
• Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium, UFT, RFT, or Mainframe-specific).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, REXX).
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• ISTQB certification.
• Exposure to API testing and cloud environments.
