Job Description
Role Summary
Cloud Testing Support Engineer is expected to perform testing of Corteca Cloud platform which is based on Java sprint boot Micro service architecture hosted in Public and Private cloud. Also able to test the CPE interaction with Cloud. Should have ability to write test automation scripts . Should support Customers in their trials and able to debug Customer issues and interact with R&D to get it resolved
Qualification & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of experience
Networking & Protocols
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 networking protocols.
- Experience with TR-069, TR-98, TR-369 (USP).
- Basic knowledge of WiFi fundamentals and WiFi Mesh networking.
Cloud Technologies
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
- Ensure adherence to high-level network engineering standards
- Work on containerization and orchestration to support cloud-native network applications.
- Assessing and looking after cloud application performance and observability.
Automation and Scripting
- Mandatory: Strong experience in Python and Shell scripting
- Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
DevOps and Infrastructure
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
Testing skills
- Ability to write test plans and perform E2E (end-to-end) testing.
- Strong in functional testing methodologies.
- Experience executing TR-98/TR-369 tests with Agent and Controller setups.
Soft skills and ownership
- Proven ability to own tasks from debugging to resolution.
- Experience coordinating with customers, product teams, and QA teams to track and close issues.
- Strong commitment to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and standards.
Preferred skills
- Prior experience with CPE management systems.
- Knowledge of designing, creating, executing and troubleshooting both application specific and integrated End-to-end automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios.
- Knowledge of Web based technologies.
- Familiarity with REST API testing.
- Database knowledge (e.g. Postgres, Mariadb, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with OpenStack, JIRA
