JOB DESCRIPTION
- Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex IT solutions across infrastructure, applications, cloud, and security platforms.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for critical technologies and solutions.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions that drive value.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implementation & Support:
- Lead deployments, configurations, integrations, and upgrades of IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT engineering or solution design roles, with 3+ years at a senior/lead level
- Technical Skills:Expertise in one or more of the following domains:
- Infrastructure & Networking (servers, storage, virtualization, LAN/WAN, firewalls)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Applications & Integration (APIs, middleware, enterprise apps)
- Security & Identity (IAM, Zero Trust, SIEM, endpoint protection)
- Proficiency with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc.).
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
