Job Description
Job Title: Transport Executive
Industry: BPO / ITES
Location: [Pune/Gurgaon]
Job Summary
The Transport Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee transportation operations, including cab coordination, route planning, and roster management. The role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation services in compliance with company and client guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily employee cab operations for pick-up and drop services
- Prepare, update, and maintain transport rosters based on shift schedules
- Coordinate with cab vendors and drivers to ensure timely availability
- Monitor adherence to SLAs, routes, and schedules
- Handle last-minute changes such as no-shows, shift changes, and emergency requests
- Track and resolve transport-related escalations from employees and operations teams
- Ensure safety compliance, GPS tracking, and adherence to company transport policies
- Maintain transport MIS, billing data, and vendor performance reports
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Security teams for smooth transport operations
- Support audits and ensure compliance with local transport and labor regulations
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of BPO shift-based transport operations
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and high-volume rosters
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / transport management systems
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights
Qualifications
- Graduate / Undergraduate (as per company policy)
- 1-3 years of experience in BPO transport or facility operations preferred
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with cab scheduling, routing, and roster planning
- Experience in handling women safety protocols and night shift transport
Work Environment
- 24/7 BPO operations
- Fast-paced, high-volume transport coordination
