Job Description

The Travel Executive will assist in managing domestic and international travel arrangements for employees or clients. The role involves coordinating bookings, handling travel queries, preparing itineraries, and ensuring cost-effective travel solutions. The candidate should have basic travel domain knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to coordinate efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Travel Booking & Coordination

  • Arrange domestic and international flight, hotel, and transport bookings.
  • Compare travel options to ensure cost-effective and timely arrangements.
  • Coordinate with travel agencies, vendors, and service providers.
  • Prepare and share detailed travel itineraries with employees.

2. Documentation Support

  • Assist with visa applications, travel insurance, and required documentation.
  • Maintain records of bookings, invoices, and travel expenses.
  • Ensure passport and visa details are up to date in the system.

3. Employee / Client Assistance

  • Address travel-related queries and provide support during travel.
  • Handle lastminute changes, cancellations, or rebooking.
  • Communicate promptly regarding schedule updates, delays, or issues.

4. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain travel logs, booking reports, and monthly travel expenses.
  • Support the finance team with invoice verification and reimbursements.

5. Vendor Coordination

  • Work with travel agencies and negotiate for the best rates when needed.
  • Follow up on confirmations, vouchers, and billing-related queries.

Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge of travel booking procedures.
  • Familiarity with travel portals (such as MakeMyTrip, Yatra, or Amadeus/Sabreif applicable).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Good command of MS Excel and document handling.
  • Ability to multitask and handle urgent travel requirements.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in any field (preferred).
  • 6 months of experience in travel booking, hospitality, customer service, or admin roles.
