Position Overview: As the Senior Manager - Training, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing effective training programs that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing, delivering, and evaluating training initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs that address organizational requirements and individual employee growth.
- Content Creation and Delivery:
- Develop engaging and interactive training content using various methodologies, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Deliver training sessions to diverse audiences, ensuring content is relevant, effective, and aligned with adult learning principles.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead a team of training professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of training initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Implement metrics and assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Analyze training outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand business needs and incorporate them into training programs.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives support overall business objectives.
- Stay Informed about Industry Trends:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in training and development.
- Recommend innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience (7-10 years) in designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and technology-driven training solutions.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Certifications in training and development are a plus.
