Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Alliance Manager to own and grow our strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is responsible for building executive relationships with AWS, driving joint go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, enabling sales teams, and accelerating cloud revenue through co-sell motions and various AWS Partner programs.


The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of the AWS Partner Network (APN) and intermediate knowledge of the AWS Cloud services portfolio, with a proven ability to translate alliances into measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

AWS Alliance & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the AWS alliance across NTT Data Sales, Marketing and Leadership teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with AWS Partner Managers, Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Regional Leaders.
  • Manage alignment with AWS on strategic priorities, industry focus areas, and customer segments.

Go-To-Market & Revenue Growth

  • Define and execute joint GTM strategies with AWS, including co-selling, co-marketing, and industry-specific solutions.
  • Drive pipeline creation and revenue growth through AWS field alignment and opportunity collaboration.

Partner Programs & Compliance

  • Own participation in the AWS Partner Network (APN) programs, competencies, service validations, and partner tiers.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS requirements related to certifications, funding, and partner scorecards.
  • Track and report on alliance KPIs including pipeline, bookings, certifications, and marketing outcomes.

Sales Enablement & Internal Alignment

  • Enable NTT Data Sales and Pre-sales teams on AWS offerings, partner benefits, funding programs (MAP, POC credits, etc.), and co-sell processes.
  • Collaborate with delivery and solution teams to build differentiated AWS-based offerings and accelerators leveraging feedback received from the AWS Teams.
  • Act as a bridge between AWS and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and execution.

Marketing & Thought Leadership

  • Drive joint marketing initiatives such as webinars, events, case studies, and AWS-hosted programs.
  • Position NTT Data as a trusted AWS partner through success stories, reference architectures, and industry use cases.
  • Represent NTT Data at AWS events (re:Invent, Summits, Partner Days).

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in alliances, partnerships, or Cloud business development, preferably within a System Integrator, MSP, or cloud services firm.
  • 2+ years of prior experience managing alliance with AWS.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, partner ecosystem, and enterprise cloud adoption.
  • Familiarity with AWS funding programs, co-sell motions, and marketplace models.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and pipeline through strategic alliances.
  • Experience working with AWS Partner Managers and navigating the APN structure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure and understanding of Technology trends in industries such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or Public Sector.
  • AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) are a plus.
