Job description
We are looking for a talentedWordPress Developerwith 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining responsive WordPress websites.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, theme customization, and plugin integration to deliver high-quality, user-friendly digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, templates).
Convert Figma / PSD / HTML designs into responsive WordPress themes.
Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements.
Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of all websites.
Debug and resolve technical issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks.
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools.
Collaborate with designers, content teams, and backend developers.
Maintain proper version control using Git and follow coding best practices.
Participate inAgile / Scrum ceremoniessuch as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 3 yearof proven experience as aWordPress Developer.
Proficient inHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
Hands-on experience withcustom theme and plugin development.
Understanding ofWordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.
Familiarity withElementor, WPBakery, ACF, or similar page builders.
Basic knowledge ofSEO best practices and website optimization, CI/CD pipelines and WordPress security hardening.
Experience withGit, cPanel, or hosting management.
