- We are seeking a Senior Avaloq Developer to join our client delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working independently, thrives on solving complex challenges, and adds value by proactively driving solutions rather than simply following instructions.
- As a Senior Avaloq Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the Avaloq Banking Suite. You'll collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and aligned to business goals.
Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and enhance Avaloq Core Banking functionalities.
- Translate business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions.
- Take ownership of tasks from analysis through to delivery, with minimal supervision.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in system performance, stability, and usability.
- Provide input into solution design, best practices, and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring long-term and sustainable fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Skills
- Must have
- 3-5 years' hands-on experience in Avaloq development (core customization, parameterization, scripting, or related modules).
- Strong understanding of the Avaloq Object Model (AOM), PL/SQL, and Avaloq frameworks.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think beyond the immediate task.
- Proactive mindset comfortable suggesting improvements and driving change.
- Experience in Agile/iterative delivery models is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
