Manage end-to-end quality processes for new Battery and Adapter (ADP) suppliers, ensuring successful onboarding and compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research and Development (R&D), Global Commodity Management (GCM), New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Quality Engineering (PQE), and suppliers to ensure smooth new project launches with effective quality control during qualification and ramp-up phases.
Oversee supplier process control and safety management; make informed shipment release decisions; and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Manage and resolve quality issues related to Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) box-line production and field parts.
Conduct regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) as well as special (issue-based or process-specific) supplier audits; provide support for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
Support production capacity and supply assurance from a quality perspective.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Battery and Adapter (ADP) industry.
Bachelors degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
In-depth understanding of Battery and Adapter assembly processes, testing procedures, Failure Analysis (FA), quality control, and reliability testing.
Strong skills in data analysis and problem-solving.
Solid knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
Proven experience in supplier and process qualification as well as new project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and quick learner with proficiency in computer applications and presentation tools.
Strong command of the English language both written and verbal.
