Performance Tester @ Cognizant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with strong hands-on experience in testing web applications using JMeter.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and analyze performance test scripts using Apache JMeter
  
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to resolve issues
  
• Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing
  
• Monitor system performance using relevant tools
  
• Prepare and present performance reports
  

Required Skills

• 36 years of experience in Performance Testing
  
• Strong hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter
  
• Good understanding of performance testing concepts and KPIs
  
• Knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Java basics
  
• Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and web protocols
  
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
  
• Exposure to performance monitoring tools
  

Must-Have Criteria

• Only Bangalore-based candidates
  
• Must be willing to work from office (5 days)
  
• Face-to-face interview scheduled ON MONDAY at Ecospace
