Key Responsibilities


Business & P&L Ownership

  • Own revenue, costs, and profitability for the Pune market
  • Drive occupancy growth and improve unit economics
  • Ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining cost discipline

Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Sales, and Supply
  • Build a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and execution
  • Coach and develop team members for performance and growth

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations across all student housing properties
  • Ensure service quality, safety, and compliance standards
  • Resolve escalations and ensure smooth on-ground execution

Sales & Demand Management

  • Work closely with sales teams to drive bookings and conversions
  • Track demand trends and prepare the city for peak seasons
  • Improve lead-to-booking performance

Supply & Property Expansion

  • Identify and onboard new properties near colleges and universities
  • Build strong relationships with property owners
  • Negotiate commercial terms for long-term partnerships

Vendor & Cost Management

  • Manage vendors for housekeeping, food, maintenance, and security
  • Ensure service quality, SLA adherence, and cost optimization

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor key metrics such as occupancy, revenue, costs, and NPS
  • Use data to identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Set targets and drive corrective actions where needed

Eligibility & Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred
  • 9+ years of experience in operations, sales, business management, or P&L roles
  • Experience in student housing, real estate, hospitality, or retail preferred
  • Strong people management and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership roles
