mmnmPosition: Apollo Optics card development technical lead / architect

Qualification: BE/BTech in CS, ECE, EE

Experience: 8+ years of experience with Telecom / product-based companies

Skills:

• Hands on design, development, bring-up, debugging optical cards based on OTN, FlexO technologies.
• Deep understanding of the ITU-T G.709 and related standards
• Experience leading teams involved in board bring-up, working with colleagues across geographies, cultures is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of C++ language, Experience working in distributed, multi-threaded systems
• Experience working with 3rd party devices from companies such as Microchip, Broadcom, Acacia. Integrating their SDK into the application code.
• Experience working with transceivers based on CMIS technology.

Roles and responsibilities:

• As a technical lead/architect, the role will involve taking ownership of delivery of Optical Transponder, Muxponder cards for the Apollo platform.
• Work will involve interfacing with product line marketing, systems architecture groups to give shape to the product requirements
• A significant part of the role will be leading software development team/teams to design, implement and deliver software required to produce the optical cards
• Role will also involve interfacing with peers in the network management team, hardware team, quality assurance (QA) team and the customer engineering teams.
