Job Description Senior Consultant BGV
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Consultant BGV to lead our compliance team in a fully remote capacity. This role requires strong expertise in end-to-end background verification (BGV) processes and 46 years of experience in the same domain, preferably within client servicing. The specialist will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant onboarding processes.
Education
- Bachelors degree in any field (mandatory)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Client and verification teams to ensure urgent completion of background checks for all new hires
- Drive background verification processes in partnership with external vendors
- Act as a key liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication and service excellence
- Ensure the team consistently meets daily, weekly, and monthly SLAs
- Develop and implement training materials and documentation related to background checks, investigations, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and track case records for future client reference
- Monitor and update verification processes, escalating issues when necessary
Experience & Skills
- 46 years of experience in background verification, with strong client servicing exposure
- Proven expertise as a subject matter expert in verification processes and familiarity with relevant tools
- Experience in handling global background checks (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote and distributed teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities
- Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
