Role & responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications and automation frameworks.
- Build and execute Selenium automation scripts for web applications.
- Participate actively in team discussions and contribute ideas/solutions for technical challenges.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and work closely with DevOps teams for automated deployments.
- Manage containers using Docker and assist in deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure automation coverage, maintain test plans, and contribute to overall product quality.
Preferred candidate profile
- 69 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong expertise in Selenium automation and web testing frameworks.
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, microservices, and container orchestration is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Python package management tools (pip, Poetry, uv).
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Experience with JavaScript, GitHub Actions, or prompt engineering is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
