Role & responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications and automation frameworks.
  
• Build and execute Selenium automation scripts for web applications.
  
• Participate actively in team discussions and contribute ideas/solutions for technical challenges.
  
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
  
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
  
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and work closely with DevOps teams for automated deployments.
  
• Manage containers using Docker and assist in deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  
• Ensure automation coverage, maintain test plans, and contribute to overall product quality.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• 69 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  
• Strong expertise in Selenium automation and web testing frameworks.
  
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
  
• Exposure to Kubernetes, microservices, and container orchestration is an added advantage.
  
• Familiarity with Python package management tools (pip, Poetry, uv).
  
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations.
  
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  
• Experience with JavaScript, GitHub Actions, or prompt engineering is a plus.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
