Job Description

About the Role:

As a Regional Operations Manager at EasyDarshan, you will oversee large-scale, multi-location travel operations and ensure seamless execution of customer movements and group travel services. Your responsibilities include managing zone-level teams, coordinating with service partners, maintaining operational quality, and ensuring disciplined execution across all activities. You will play a pivotal role in delivering well-organized, safe, and high-quality travel experiences, making this position essential for driving operational excellence and maintaining customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations Oversight: Lead and manage daily travel operations across multiple zones ensuring efficiency and quality.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise zone managers, field staff, and support teams to ensure smooth coordination and performance.
  3. Service Quality Management: Monitor service delivery standards for transport, accommodation, and customer handling.
  4. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, MIS reports, incident summaries, and operational dashboards.
  5. Issue Management: Resolve escalations related to travel coordination, customer support, scheduling, or service quality.
  6. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with transport, hotel, and service vendors to ensure timely and reliable service delivery.
  7. Operational Planning: Execute travel schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
  8. Audit & Compliance: Conduct quality checks, monitor SOP adherence, and ensure consistent operational discipline.
  9. Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, evaluate staff performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with central teams for training, updates, and process enhancements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  1. Operations Experience: Proven leadership experience in travel operations, logistics, field management, or multi-location execution.
  2. Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to resolve operational challenges.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for team coordination and vendor management.
  4. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reporting, planning, and service quality oversight.
  5. Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic environments with operational pressures.
  6. Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MIS tools, mobile apps, reporting formats, Excel, and communication tools.
  7. Leadership Qualities: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a large on-ground team.
  8. Educational Background: Graduate required; MBA or operations-specialized degree preferred.
  9. Language Skills: Good proficiency in English and regional languages for team and vendor coordination.
  10. Customer-Centric Mindset: Empathy, responsibility, and commitment to delivering exceptional travel experience.
