Job Description
- Qualification: Graduation (Science background), Degree in IT background CCNA Certified / MCSA Certified / ITIL certified Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team
- Candidate will get experience in managing IT infrastructure support within a fast-paced software development environment
- You will work closely with senior IT staff and cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and provide user support across the organization
- Job Responsibilities Provide L1 desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Assist with L1 system administration tasks such as user account creation, system configuration, and patch updates
- Manage helpdesk tickets using service management tools and ensure timely resolution
- Perform basic L1 network support, including troubleshooting, monitoring connectivity, and escalating issues when required
- Monitor server health, system backups, and antivirus status to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and peripheral devices
- Support incident tracking, escalation, and resolution under the guidance of senior IT staff
- Conduct routine hardware checks and assist with preventive maintenance activities
- Contribute to creating and updating IT documentation, processes, checklists, and system configurations
- Skills Required Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Linux)
- Certifications or training in CCNA, MCSA, ITSM, A+/N+ (preferred)
- Familiarity with O365, cloud computing, helpdesk tools, and backup systems (added advantage)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
