Job Description

Role : SAN Production support role. Experience :5 -8 Yrs Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for SAN storage environments Monitor SAN infrastructure health, performance, and availability Troubleshoot and resolve SAN incidents, s, and performance issues within SLA Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes Support storage provisioning, zoning, masking, and LUN management Execute storage upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and change activities Perform capacity planning and storage utilization analysis Support disaster recovery (DR) drills and high availability setups Collaborate with server, backup, network, and application teams Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs Participate in on call rotations and crisis bridge calls

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

1. Strong experience in SAN storage production support
2. Hands on knowledge of Enterprise Storage Arrays (EMC / Dell, NetApp, HPE 3PAR, IBM, etc.)
3. Experience with SAN fabrics Brocade / Cisco switches
4. Strong understanding of Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, zoning, and multipathing
5. Incident, problem, and change management in 24x7 environments Experience in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and RCA Familiarity with ITIL processes and operational best practices Good to Have Skills Experience with replication technologies (SRDF, SnapMirror, Remote Copy, etc.) Exposure to backup and recovery tools Knowledge of VMware storage integration Automation/scripting exposure (Shell / Python) Experience in BFSI or large enterprise environments Storage certifications (EMC, NetApp, HPE, Brocade preferred) <
