Role Summary
The Senior Application Analyst Oracle Fusion SCM (Manufacturing) will act as the functional expert supporting and enhancing Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud solutions. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure stable production operations, accurate costing, and continuous process improvements across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional SME for Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules:
- Manufacturing Cloud
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Integration with Cost Management and Financials
- Provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis for manufacturing-related issues.
- Configure and maintain manufacturing setups including:
- Work definitions, work methods, and resources
- Standard, discrete, and process manufacturing flows
- Production scheduling and execution
- Support BOM structures, routings, and WIP transactions.
- Ensure accurate manufacturing accounting, costing, and period close in coordination with Finance teams.
- Analyze business enhancement requests and recommend Fusion best-practice solutions.
- Lead UAT, regression testing, and release validation for quarterly Fusion updates.
- Collaborate with technical teams on:
- Integrations with upstream/downstream systems
- Reports using OTBI and BI Publisher
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation (FDDs, SOPs, test scripts).
- Train business users and provide functional guidance.
- Mentor junior analysts and act as an escalation point.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience with strong hands-on exposure to Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud.
- Deep functional knowledge of:
- Manufacturing, BOM, and WIP
- Cost Management and integration with Fusion Financials (GL, Inventory Accounting)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing business processes.
- Experience supporting production environments with strict SLA requirements.
- Familiarity with Fusion security, roles, and data access.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
