Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Managed and configured FortiGate (60, 80, 100, 200F) and Cisco Firepower 2130 , firewalls, ensuring robust network security, access control, and policy enforcement.
- Designed and implemented IPsec VPN tunnels for secure branch-to-branch
connectivity and SSL VPN for remote user access to internal resources.
- Configuration and Firmware upgradation of the Fortigate firewall, FortiAP.
- Configured NAT, security policies, traffic shaping, and HA setups to optimize
network performance and security.
- Administered Netskope SWG & Netskope Private Access (NPA) for enhanced
cloud security, DLP enforcement, and zero-trust access to private applications.
- Configuration and Upgradation of Netskope Publisher.
Performed FNAC compliance enforcement for domain authentication, antivirus,
and OS validation.
- Utilized FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager for centralized firewall log monitoring,
configuration management, and performance analysis.
- Monitored network security and performance using OPManager and other
monitoring tools.
- Performed monthly device backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery
preparedness.
- Managing IP Network Range Inventory: Assigned new IP networks based on
requirements across all locations.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Drill: Performed DR drill activities every six months to
Verify the redundancy and reliability of the Data Center.
- New Entity Network Setup: Designed and implemented new network setups for
seamless reachability from all branch offices to the DC LAN network.
- Azure Cloud Integration: Collaborated with the Azure cloud team for migrating
local VMs to the cloud, and allocated new VLAN networks for cloud infrastructure as
per requirements.
