Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a strong SDE-2 who can design and build robust, scalable and distributed backend systems. The ideal candidate is from a product-based company or startup environment, with hands-on experience in building high-impact features end-to-end .
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Participate in architecture and system design discussions.
- Write clean, efficient and well-tested code.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and DevOps teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Ensure best practices in coding, security and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-8 years of backend development experience.
- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms and System Design.
- Expertise in backend languages such as Java / Python / Go (any one mandatory).
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, relational/non-relational databases, caching and messaging queues.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Mandatory: Prior experience in product-based companies or startups.
