Frappe Developer - Procurement @ Web Spiders

Job Description

Web Spiders is urgently looking for a Software Developer with deep expertise in Frappe Framework to lead the design, development, and enhancement of our in-house Procurement Platform. This role demands a hands-on technical leader who can guide a team of developers, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in custom app development using Frappe Framework mandatory.
  
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  
• Proven experience in leading development teams (46 members) with successful project delivery.
  
• Solid understanding of database design, API integrations, and modular architecture.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Procurement, Supply Chain, or ERP domain.
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

Role & responsibilities :

• Involve end-to-end development of our Procurement Platform using the Frappe Framework.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 46 developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
  
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  
• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python, and build responsive, intuitive frontends with JavaScript.
  
• Oversee code reviews, ensure high-quality releases, and maintain coding standards across the team.
  
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other internal/external systems.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the development process, automation, and system scalability.
  
• Stay updated on Frappe updates and emerging technologies relevant to procurement and supply chain automation.
