Job Description

Role Overview


We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician to join our 24/7 IT support team. The role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations for end-users.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide L1 technical support via phone, email, chat, or ticketing tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to:
    • Operating systems (Windows/Mac)
    • MS Office / Google Workspace
    • Network connectivity (LAN/WiFi/VPN)
    • Printers, desktops, laptops, peripherals
  • Install, configure, and update software and hardware.
  • Monitor IT systems and escalate incidents as per SOPs.
  • Log and track all issues in the ticketing system (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.).
  • Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access management.
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for unresolved issues.
  • Follow IT policies, security guidelines, and shift handover processes.

Requirement:


  • Fresher or 06 months of experience in IT support/helpdesk.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
  • Good understanding of troubleshooting basics.
  • Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts, including night shifts.
  • Graduation in IT/CS or relevant certification (A+, N+, CCNA basics) is a plus.

Preferred Skills


  • Familiarity with ticketing tools.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet SLAs.
