Job Summary
Role : Power BI & Power Apps
Location: Hyderabad
years of Exp: 6+
We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI & Power Apps expert who can design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions and low-code applications. This role also requires foundational experience in data engineering (preferably using Azure Databricks) and an understanding of Power BI administration, governance, and security. The ideal candidate is passionate about continuous learning and staying current with new features, capabilities, and best practices across the Microsoft Power Platform.
Technical Expertise
5-8 years experience developing Power BI dashboards (or equivalent strong portfolio).
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, M language, and data modeling best practices (star schema, semantic modeling).
Experience developing Power Apps (canvas + model-driven) and working with Dataverse.
Working experience with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, or similar data engineering tools.
Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL performance tuning, and ETL concepts.
Experience with Power BI Service administration, including:
o RLS
o Workspaces & deployment pipelines
o Gateways & refresh optimization
o Premium capacity management

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Excellent communicationcan work directly with business stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.
Continuous learners who stay current on Power BI, Power Apps, Fabric, and Databricks enhancements.
Detail-oriented and driven to create polished, high-quality solutions.
Exposure to using Jira/Confluence to document and track user stories/task
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills
Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows, Direct Lake).
Knowledge of Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit.
Exposure to DevOps pipelines for Power BI and Power Platform.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles for dashboards.
Basic understanding of Python or PySpark for Databricks transformations.
