Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer/ Sr. Electrical Design Engineer- Control Panel design
Experience: 04 -10 years
Qualifications: BE/B tech/ME (Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunications)
Desired: Eplan , Zuken E3, AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks
(Preferred Machinery Industry Experience in SPM)
Location: Bavdhan, Pune
Responisbilities:
- Design and develop electrical control panel drawings based on project requirements.
- Create detailed enclosure layouts for components such as contactors, relays, power supplies, PLCs, HMIs, etc.
- Generate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and physical layout drawings using E-Plan or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Proficiency in creating Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Select and interface PLC and HMI systems as per application requirements.
- Analyze equipment specifications and define design parameters to meet functional and performance needs.
- Revise electrical schematics based on engineering updates and customer feedback.
- Perform electrical component selection and prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure timely execution of assigned projects with adherence to quality and documentation standards.
- Apply knowledge of relevant national electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 79, UL 508A) in design and documentation.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in control panel design and electrical component selection.
- Proficiency in E-Plan and/or AutoCAD Electrical for design and drafting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with clients.
- Understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) is a plus.
- Preferred Machinery Industry background- SPM
