Position: Assistant Manager / Manager Electrical

Qualification: B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 6 10 Years

Industry Preference: Sheet Metal / Press Shop / Manufacturing Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager Electrical to manage the electrical

maintenance and automation systems in a sheet metal parts manufacturing environment. The candidate

should have strong experience in PLC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial automation,

along with good reporting and documentation skills to support maintenance planning and management

Review.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and supervise electrical maintenance activities for productionon equipment and utilities.

Ensure smooth operation of power press machines, hydraulic presses, welding machines,

compressors, and other sheet metal production equipment.

Handle PLC-based machines and automationon systems, including troubleshooting and coordination

with OEM/service engineers.

Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and

machines.

Monitor and maintain electrical panels, drives, motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.

Lead and guide the electrical maintenance team and allocate daily maintenance activities.

Ensure minimum machine downtime by effective breakdown analysis and corrective actions.

Maintain proper maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports and present them to management.

Support installation and commissioning of new machines, automation systems, and plant expansion projects.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company safety policies.

Work closely with production, tool room, and quality teams for continuous improvement.

Required Skills :

Strong knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automaon.

Experience in electrical troubleshooting in manufacturing machines.

Knowledge of VFD drives, control panels, sensors, limit switches, and electrical circuits.

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and control schematics.

Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and breakdown analysis.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in sheet metal/press shop / automotive component manufacturing industry.

Exposure to automation robotics systems, robotic welding, or automated production lines.

Experience in energy management and electrical cost control.
