Job Description

Power BI Lead Developer with strong expertise in migrating dashboards and reports from Tableau to Power BI. The role involves leading the migration strategy, ensuring seamless transition, optimizing performance, and delivering interactive, business-driven analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end migration of Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and data sources to Power BI. Expert on advanced queries and optimization Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure continuity of insights during migration. Re-engineer Tableau reports into optimized Power BI solutions, leveraging DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices. Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, datasets, and paginated reports. Establish data connections and integrate with multiple data sources such as SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, and cloud platforms. Apply data modeling, relationships, and performance tuning to ensure efficient reporting. Lead Power BI governance, including workspace management, security (Row-Level Security), and deployment pipelines. Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and performance optimization for all migrated reports. Document technical designs, data flows, and migration processes for future reference. Data modeling & performance optimization Required Skills & Experience:

8 plus years of experience in BI development with at least 3+ years in Power BI. Proven experience in Tableau to Power BI migration projects. Power BI Desktop & Service (datasets, dashboards, reports, dataflows) Familiarity with enterprise-scale BI environments and large data sets. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for BI delivery.
