Job Description

Role Proficiency:

Performs tests in strict compliance independently guides other testers and assists test leads

Outcomes:

  1. Construct test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements
  2. Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements
  3. Execute systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements
  4. Ensure that new or revised components or systems perform to expectation.
  5. Ensure meeting of standards; including usability performance reliability or compatibility.
  6. Document Test results and report defects
  7. Facilitate changes in processes/practices/procedures based on lessons learned from the engagement
  8. Develop proficiency of other testers on the project

Measures of Outcomes:

  1. Timely completion of all tasks
  2. # of requirement/user story ambiguities logged
  3. Requirements / User story coverage based on test cases/script
  4. # of test cases/script developed in comparison to the benchmarks
  5. # of test cases/script executed in comparison to the benchmarks
  6. # of valid defects

    Tester HealthProof is looking for a Senior Tester, who under the general supervision of the engineering and delivery lead, will work to deliver the implementation of a Health care ecosystem for our Health Plan clients. The Quality Analyst will work with the small to mid-size Health Plan Clients, third party vendors, and onshore and offshore Advalent associates to Plan, design, execute and report software tests and mentor a team of software testers. Candidate should have excellent functional, analytical and communication skills and ability to engage as part of a team working both physically together and virtually. You should be an excellent problem solver who is able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them. As a QA, this is your opportunity to: - Create and execute detailed test plans from business requirements, functional specifications, agile stories and/or product requirements. - Serves on project teams to coordinate and lead QA activities for programming and implementation projects - Build and enhance automation framework using selenium-Java - Review business / software requirements and provide inputs. - Prepare / review test plans. - Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data. - Execute tests (manual / automated). - Report defects and assist in their understanding. - Analyze test results and track software testing metrics. - Prepare and present test reports. - Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers. - Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution - Setting up QA processes and standards - Review product user interface for conformity - Provides guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members. - Comply with the organization's Code of Conduct, all regulatory and contractual requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
