Project description You will be working in a global team that manages and performs a global technical control.You'll be joining Wealths Management team which is looking after record management data foundation and operates a set of in-house developed tooling.As an IT engineer you'll play an important role in ensuring the development methodology is followed, and lead technical design discussions with the architects. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with a focus on performance and usability.
Use Microsoft Fabric to integrate data pipelines, lakehouses, and semantic models.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize DAX queries and data models for large datasets.
Ensure data governance and security compliance.
Collaborate with team members using Git and GitLab for version control and CI/CD
Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications
Apply data analytics to interpret data and support business decisions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide project updates
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency
Share and contributeSupport and guide less senior team members, contribute to team spirit and dynamic growth, actively participate in wider engineering group
and product-wide activities
Skills Must have
Qualifications & Key Skills:
10+ years of data engineering/analysis experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proficient in deploying and managing services on Power platform / Fabric
Understanding of Microsoft Fabric concepts and best practices
Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Notebooks).
Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and cloud data architecture.
Proficient in version control using Git and experience with GitLab for CI/CD pipelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members
Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision making. Nice to have
Data Architecture & EngineeringDesign and implement efficient and scalable data warehousing solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
