Job Description:

The Patient Experience Intern will support the hospitals customer care and service excellence initiatives. This role offers exposure to real-time hospital operations, patient interaction, grievance handling, and service quality improvement activities. Interns will learn how patient experience influences hospital performance, reputation, and clinical coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist the Patient Experience Officers during patient rounds in wards and OPD areas.
  
• Interact with patients and attendants to collect feedback, understand their concerns, and escalate service gaps.
  
• Support the grievance handling team in documenting and tracking complaints, ensuring timely closure.
  
• Help maintain and update NPS (Net Promoter Score) and Google Review analytics.
  
• Observe and assist in initiatives like Super 8, which includes discharge experience, MVP feedback, and home visit coordination.
  
• Participate in service recovery discussions and interdepartmental meetings on patient feedback.
  
• Assist with daily reports, dashboards, and data compilation related to patient satisfaction.
  
• Learn and follow hospital protocols for communication, confidentiality, and professionalism in patient handling.
  
• Coordinate with the Dial 55 helpline team (employee grievance line) for observation and learning purposes.
  
• Support in event coordination and awareness campaigns for improving patient engagement.
