Job Description
What will your role look like
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests (functional, upgrade, HA, negative, longevity) using Python and Pytest.
Develop modular, reusable, and resilient test automation code to ensure system stability.
Create verification plans, test strategies, and triage playbooks; identify coverage gaps and improve automation reliability.
Automate testing across multiple storage platforms Object Storage, NAS, SAN, and File Systems.
Test and debug REST APIs, backend services, and cloud workflows integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
Analyze system logs, perform failure injection testing, and collaborate with development teams to drive defect resolution.

We would like you to bring along
Strong hands-on experience in Python automation with deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and OS fundamentals (Linux/Windows).
Expertise in Pytest, Jenkins CI, and Git-based workflows (fixtures, parametrization, parallelization).
Proven experience in testing distributed systems or storage/networking platforms (e.g., iSCSI/NVMe-TCP, NFS/SMB, S3).
Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend validation.
Excellent debugging and triage skills across product, environment, and automation layers.
Good-to-have skills
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Knowledge of performance or scalability testing tools.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps pipelines.
