Job Description
- As a Lead Consultant for MAC OS Developer L2 at Genpact, your main responsibilities will include: - Administering and configuring Jamf Pro to effectively manage Apple devices. - Developing and implementing policies for device management, including inventory tracking, software distribution, and security protocols. - Creating and managing profiles for device configuration, restrictions, and network settings. - Troubleshooting issues related to Jamf Pro, including software deployments, profiles, and device enrollment. - Enrolling and configuring new Apple devices for users, ensuring proper setup, security, and functionality. - Deploying software, patches, and updates to ensure devices are up-to-date and secure. - Setting up and configuring zero-touch deployments and automated workflows for device provisioning. - Implementing and monitoring security measures for Apple devices, including encryption, password policies, and remote wipe capabilities. - Ensuring devices are compliant with company security standards and regulatory requirements. - Providing end-user support for security-related issues, such as device encryption and secure access to company resources. - Providing technical support for end-users in relation to device setup, application deployment, and troubleshooting. - Conducting training sessions and creating documentation for end-users to help them navigate and utilize Apple devices effectively. - Working closely with IT teams, including network administrators and security teams, to ensure seamless integration of Apple devices within the broader IT infrastructure. - Collaborating with other departments to understand device and software needs, providing tailored solutions. - Monitoring device health, compliance status, and security posture using Jamf Pro dashboards and reporting tools. - Generating regular reports on device status, software compliance, and other metrics as required by management. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP). - Jamf-specific certifications like Jamf Certified Technician (JCT) or Jamf Certified Expert (JCE).
