Job Description
- As a Consultant - Net Developer at Genpact, your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, PostgresSQL, Kafka, and Snowflakes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include performing unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, implementing CI/CD processes, monitoring and optimizing application performance, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies to provide recommendations for process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy web applications using Microsoft .NET, PostgresSQL, Kafka, and Snowflakes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. - Perform unit testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications. - Troubleshoot and debug issues during development and testing phases. - Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes with team members. - Monitor and optimize application performance for high availability and scalability. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, providing recommendations for process improvements. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - BE/B-Tech in Computer Science or MCA. - Experience in Data Engineering with hands-on coding experience in developing, designing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. - Strong understanding of .NET framework and .NET Core. - Proficiency in developing modern web applications using .NET. - Strong understanding of MS SQL and PostgresSQL databases, with mandatory hands-on experience in PostgresSQL. - Good knowledge of writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and database design. - Good knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture, with relevant experience in developing apps using Kafka. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes like Azure DevOps or Jenkins. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Strong understanding of scaling and migrating to newer versions of .NET.,
