Job Description
Be the lead architect in designing Amdocss foundation using your deep understanding of the world of software while researching new technologies.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- bachelors or masters degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in LTE/5G RAN optimization, with at least 3 years on Huawei equipment.
- Strong understanding of Huawei RAN architecture, signaling, and protocols (e.g., eNodeB, gNodeB).
- Hands-on experience with Huawei tools such as U2020, M2000, PRS, and SmartCare.
- Expertise in mMIMO tuning, beamforming, and advanced 5G features (e.g., DSS, CA, VoNR).
- Solid knowledge of 3GPP standards, RF planning, and propagation models.
- Familiarity with network strategy, spectrum planning, and capacity forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, Python, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Huawei certification (e.g., HCIA/HCIP-RAN) is a strong plus.
What will your job look like
- Lead LTE/5G/mMIMO radio network optimization using Huawei tools and platforms like PRS/U2020,SmartCares.
- Analyze network KPIs, counters, and drive test data to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Design and implement network strategies to improve coverage, capacity, and quality of service.
- Collaborate with planning and operations teams to align optimization efforts with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership in solution design, integration, and validation for Huawei RAN.
- Support trials and deployment of new Huawei features and software upgrades.
- Interface with Huawei technical support and RD teams for issue resolution and feature enhancement.
- Prepare and present technical reports, strategy documents, and performance dashboards.
- Contribute to the development of automation tools and AI/ML-based optimization frameworks.
