Job Description:
Primary Skills Cloud models: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, - Networking: VPCs, VPNs, firewalls,
Secondary Skills OS: Linux, Windows, - Basic security concepts
- Azure DevOps Platform:
- Expertise in Azure Pipelines for building and deploying CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Azure Boards for work item management and project tracking
- Proficient use of Azure Repos for source code management
- Understanding of Azure Test Plans for test case creation and execution
- Knowledge of Azure Artifacts for package management
- CI/CD Practices:
- Designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles
- Experience with release management strategies
- Scripting and Automation:
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash for automating tasks
- Ability to write infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates or other tools
- Version Control:
- Deep understanding of Git and branching strategies
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Effective communication with development teams, operations teams, and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
Secondary Skills:
- Cloud Computing:
- Basic understanding of Azure cloud services (compute, storage, network)
- Familiarity with Azure CLI
- Configuration Management:
- Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for server configuration management
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Knowledge of monitoring tools to track application performance and health
- Security:
- Awareness of security best practices within Azure DevOps pipelines
