Job Description
Backend Developer
- Golang
- AWS (3 to 5 years of experience)
- Experience with distributed, complex applications
- Familiarity with containerization
- Able to perform self-testing
- 3-4 years of Golang experience
- 4-5 years working with CI/CD and contributing to large codebases
- 4-5 years writing solid unit & integration test suites
- Experience with low-code / no-code tools and workflows
Roles and Responsibilities
Development & Coding:
- Design and implement backend services using Golang.
- Build scalable and maintainable APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration test suites to ensure code quality.
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and ensure high availability.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Perform self-testing of developed features before handoff.
- Ensure high test coverage and reliability through automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across distributed systems.
Architecture & System Design:
Work with distributed systems and ensure fault tolerance and scalability.
Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend systems with business needs.
Containerization & DevOps:
- Use Docker or similar tools for containerization of applications.
- Manage container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS) if applicable.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD workflows for smooth development cycles.
Low-Code/No-Code Integration:
- Explore and integrate low-code/no-code tools where applicable to accelerate development.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using such platforms.
Collaboration & Contribution:
- Contribute to large codebases and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior developers when needed.
