Job Description
System Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our company's network and server systems. Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Mangalore
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the company's network and server systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and security of the network and server infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, including hardware, software, and network connectivity problems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring that all employees have the appropriate level of access to company resources
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical company data
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technology solutions and improvements to existing systems
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology and make recommendations for updates and improvements to the company's network and server infrastructure
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the company's data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience working as a System Administrator or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of network and server systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and disaster recovery solutions
- Proficient in the use of server and network management tools, such as Active Directory, VMware, and Cisco networking equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Should have hands on experience on in setting up network and workstations , troubleshooting and reporting issues. Proficiency in Linux OS and CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
