SAP VIM(Vendor Invoice Management) Associate Consultant
Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
The SAP VIM(Vendor Invoice Management) Associate Consultant is responsible for
facilitating the VIM enhancements, upgrade, rollouts, continuous improvements/automations
and ticket handling involving SAP VIM skills with strong knowledge of Account payable
process.
Individual should carry out functional gaps analysis by identifying areas where standard SAP
VIM functionalities need enhancements or customization.
Individual would be required to gather business requirements & prepare TO BE design
documents and collaborate with client business COE and users.
Configure VIM modules, including Invoice Capture Center or Business Capture Center or
IES, and the integration with SAP AP and external applications such as Ariba.
Handle complex enhancements in the OpenText VIM system, ensuring the solution aligns
with the client's business requirements.
Design and implement invoice workflow approvals based on the client's approval matrix and
business rules.
Perform Root Cause Analysis and work with Cross Module teams for resolution.
Individual should be able to create Configuration document, Functional Specifications, Unit
and SIT Test Cases
Provide guidance and support to end-users for day-to-day activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VIM configurations, workflows, and integration
with other systems.
Work and collaborate with technical consultants to design, build and realize Custom
developments (RICEFW)
Requirement:
Minimum 3 years of SAP experience with at least 2 years as an SAP VIM Consultant.
Strong knowledge of SAP VIM modules and configurations, including OpenText OCR tools
(IES preferred), and integration with SAP AP and external applications such as Ariba.
Should have experience with VIM 16.3 or higher versions.
Proficiency in handling complex enhancements in the OpenText VIM system.
Ability to design and implement invoice workflow approvals based on business requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-
functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant certifications in SAP/OpenText VIM are preferred
