 Assistant Manager - Fire Safety

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Fire Safety Management*:

- Implement and oversee comprehensive fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols.

- Conduct thorough fire safety audits and risk assessments on a regular basis.

- Ensure strict compliance with local fire safety regulations and industry standards.

2. *Safety Training & Awareness*:

- Design and execute effective fire safety training programs for all employees.

- Orchestrate regular fire drills and refine evacuation procedures.

- Cultivate a culture of fire safety awareness and promote best practices.

3. *Emergency Response*:

- Develop and implement robust emergency response plans.

- Liaise with emergency services and lead response efforts during fire incidents.

- Conduct thorough incident investigations and implement data-driven corrective actions.

4. *Compliance & Audits*:

- Maintain rigorous compliance with fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.

- Perform regular audits and inspections to identify areas for continuous improvement.

- Foster collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.

5. *Team Management*:

- Provide leadership and guidance to fire safety team members.

- Strategically allocate tasks, monitor progress, and deliver constructive feedback.

*Requirements:*

1. *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a closely related field.

2. *Certifications*: Relevant fire safety certifications (e.g., NFPA, OSHA) strongly preferred.

3. *Experience*: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in fire safety management.

4. *Skills*: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

1. Establish and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

2. Proactively prevent fire-related incidents through strategic planning and implementation.

3. Ensure unwavering compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.

4. Develop and implement cutting-edge fire safety policies and procedures.
