System Engineer (Obsolescence) Work from Office @ emagine

Job Description

Role Overview:
This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting Linux servers, middleware, and storage infrastructure across the APAC region
The incumbent will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the implementation of obsolescence projects while adhering to security guidelines and regulatory requirements, Main Responsibilities:
Support and maintain technologies at the Asia perimeter, including:
RHEL 7/8
Middleware (Weblogic / MQSeries / Control M)
Storage (Netapp / EMC)
Backup and Restore technologies
Satellite, Ansible, IDM
Lead and collaborate with Linux and Windows, IT Security, and application teams on obsolescence projects, Remove End of Life (EOL) OS and applications through migration or decommissioning, Resolve vulnerability issues effectively, Work closely with the Asia head of IT Security, Risk, and Compliance to ensure compliance with security guidelines and regulatory requirements, Ensure documentation related to deployed solutions is maintained and updated regularly, Timely report, follow up, and escalate any incidents as necessary, ensuring proper logging, Key Requirements:
Solid experience with RHEL 7/8, Hands-on experience with RHEL in-place upgrades and migrations, Experience with NAS and SAN (EMC/Netapp), Experience with Middleware technologies (Weblogic / MQSeries / Control-M), Experience with Hadoop, Windows 2019/2022 administration experience is an advantage, Job Qualification:
Bachelors degree, 5+ years of Linux administration experience, preferably in the financial industry, Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Good command of written and spoken English,
