Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all IT operations, systems, and processes adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, including RBI/SEBI guidelines, and cybersecurity standards.
- Regulatory Reporting: Strong knowledge in KRI, Public Facing App & DB, Tranche reporting.
- End to end management of Regulatory submissions: Assign, co-ordinate for data collection, validate and submission of Adhoc Returns, Advisories, Alerts, Circulars and Questionnaires.
- Policy Development: Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and industry best practices.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities within the IT infrastructure.
- Auditing and Reporting: Lead and coordinate internal and external audits related to IT compliance. Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changing regulations and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance IT compliance practices.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and relevant certifications are highly desirable.
4-5 years of progressive experience in IT compliance, governance, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian banking regulations, RBI GKC recommendations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mind set with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks effectively.
