Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AR Team Lead (Hospital Billing) to lead our Accounts Receivable (AR) operations team in the US Healthcare domain.
Experience Required:
8 - 12 years of experience in Hospital Billing AR (Inpatient/Outpatient).
Minimum 1 year of team handling experience as a Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of AR associates handling Hospital Billing claims.
Oversee the entire AR process including billing, collections, and denial management for hospital accounts.
Review AR aging reports, ensure timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding claims.
Monitor denial trends and implement corrective actions to improve collections.
Ensure team meets productivity, quality, and TAT (Turnaround Time) targets.
Handle escalations and collaborate with clients/hospitals for quick resolution.
Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
Prepare and share MIS reports on collections, productivity, and denials.
Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge of US Healthcare AR Hospital Billing (IP/OP).
Strong understanding of UB-04 billing, payer guidelines, and denial management.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze trends and drive process improvements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools is preferred.
