About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled SQL Engineer with 36 years of experience to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust SQL queries, procedures, and data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Design and maintain ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in SQL queries and databases.
- Maintain documentation for data models, processes, and workflows.
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server).
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python, Shell) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
