What You'll Do:
- We are seeking a skilled SYNON Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SYNON applications to support business requirements.
- They will also be expected to follow approved life cycle methodologies, create design documents, and perform program coding and testing.
- The SYNON Developer will resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation, and should have a strong understanding of SYNON, RPG, and IBM iSeries.
- Design, develop, and maintain SYNON applications according to business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and bug fixing for SYNON applications. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Proficient in SYNON development and design. Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) RPG programming. Excellent understanding of SQL and DB2 database.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with API development and integration.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of COBOL programming.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with data migration and transformation.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of ERP systems. Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Proficiency in SYNON, RPG, and IBM iSeries.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with API development and integration.
- Proficient in SYNON development and design. Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS/400) RPG programming. Excellent understanding of SQL and DB2 database
