Sr System Administrator @ Cognite

Job Description

• System Setup Maintenance: Assist in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing company servers, systems, and hardware to ensure peak performance.

• Network Management: Manage and configure network systems such as LAN, WAN, and VPNs, ensuring efficient network operations.

• Technical Support: Provide timely technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues effectively and efficiently.

• System Monitoring Performance: Monitor system performance and network activity using various monitoring tools to ensure smooth operation of IT services.

• Security Backup: Support the implementation of security protocols (user access control, firewalls, system updates) and ensure regular backups are performed with effective data restoration processes.

• Software Updates Installations: Install, configure, and update software applications to maintain the functionality and security of the systems.

• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous service delivery.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records related to IT infrastructure, system configurations, troubleshooting logs, and updates.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members on system improvements and contribute to IT projects as needed.
