Php Junior Developer / Trainee @ SJM Softech

Job Description

• Coding and Development: Write clean, well-designed, and efficient PHP code for web applications
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software solutions
• Problem-Solving: Debug and resolve issues reported by clients or internal teams, ensuring the stability and performance of applications
• Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to PHP development
• Testing: Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Documentation: Document code and technical specifications thoroughly
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and challenges faced
• Adaptability: Adapt to changing project requirements and contribute creative ideas to solve problems efficiently
• Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Basic understanding of PHP programming language and object-oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Eagerness to learn and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment
• Knowledge of popular PHP frameworks (eg, Laravel, Symfony) is a plus
• Experience with version control systems (eg, Git) is a plus
