Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care & Clinical Duties
Diagnose and manage complex or rare conditions within their specialty.
Conduct specialized physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and procedures.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, therapies, or surgical interventions as appropriate.
Monitor and adjust patient care over time to ensure optimal outcomes.
2. Specialized Procedures & Treatments
Perform advanced diagnostic tests (e.g., endoscopy, imaging interpretation).
Carry out specialized procedures or surgeries within their area of expertise.
Provide second opinions and advanced treatment options when referred by GPs.
3. Patient Education & Counseling
Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedures in a clear, compassionate manner.
Educate patients and families about disease management, prevention, and recovery.
Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications specific to the condition.
4. Collaboration & Referrals
Work closely with General Practitioners and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
Refer patients to allied healthcare providers (e.g., physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists).
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for complex cases.
5. Research & Continuous Learning
Stay updated with the latest advancements, clinical trials, and best practices.
Participate in medical research and contribute to publications or clinical guidelines.
Attend and present at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
6. Teaching & Mentorship
Train medical students, junior doctors, and residents.
Share expertise through lectures, workshops, or clinical supervision.
Provide mentorship within their specialty field.
7. Administrative & Ethical Duties
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Ensure compliance with medical laws, ethics, and institutional policies.
Contribute to hospital audits, quality improvement, and risk management.
Salary: OMR 1,800 to 2,500 + Incentives

Minimum exp required: 3 years
